Curiosity and a love of learning drive my life and who I am as a therapist. I became a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio after earning a Masters in Social Science at the Mandel School of Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
My approach is relational and somatic. I am dedicated to meeting individual needs by incorporating a client-centered and trauma informed approach with evidence based practices. My training includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, or EMDR, an evidence based modality that helps clients with traumatic memories; extensive couples training and specialized training to work with Veterans. I seek consultation, supervision and continuing education to provide the best possible outcomes for my clients.
Prior to opening my own practice in Cincinnati, my wide range of experiences include working with adults and teens at a Hilliard, Ohio group practice, Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital, the Ohio State University and Ohio Mentor Foster Care Agency. I also have experience running therapeutic groups and providing trainings.
Adults, teens and families of all ages, cultures, races, spiritualities, sexual orientations and gender identities are welcome.
